As part of the 10th anniversary of the Windmill Hill Arts Trail I showed a series of clear acrylic laser etchings of historic photographs of Victoria Park. The etchings were displayed in the position from which the original photographs would have been taken during the late 1800 and early 1900s. Victoria park is a classic late Victorian, early Edwardian park that has over it’s life been home to a bandstand, a lido and an ornate drinking fountain all of which have now gone. It is now a lively community park overseen by VPAG. The etchings made a connection between past and present communities of a particular public place.
